Strategic Aims and Objectives
The Ministry of Defence and Statutory Bodies have considered, within the Dartmoor Working Party, the management of the Ministry of Defence’s responsibilities for Dartmoor Training Area and have agreed Strategic Aims that take account of the military requirements and responsibilities, and Stakeholders aims and objectives.
Having established the Strategic Aims, enabling objectives have been agreed. To view a list of the objectives that support the Strategic Aims, click here. The objectives will be applied across all Dartmoor Training Area freehold land. On licenced and leasehold land, the objectives will be subject to the terms and responsibilities stated within the formal agreements between the landlord and Ministry of Defence.
It should be noted that fluctuations in Government spending and external
influences may influence (positively or negatively) the ability to meet
the performance targets.
