Memorandums of Understanding and Declarations of Intent
The Ministry of Defence has entered into agreement with many organisations to ensure clear understanding between the parties and to declare intentions to achieve a mutual goal. Those of particular relevance to Dartmoor Training Area are:
- Declaration of Intent between the Ministry of Defence and the Association of National Park Authorities, 2005
- The Habitats and Birds Directives, and the Ramsar Convention Memorandum Of Understanding between The Ministry of Defence and The Department For Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, The Welsh Assembly Government , The Scottish Executive, and The Northern Ireland Office, 2003
- Declaration of Intent between the Ministry of Defence and English Nature, 2002.
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Defence and the Environment Agency 2000.
