Ministry of Defence's Responsibilities

efficiently in line with acknowledged best practice and is sensitive

The MOD manages its responsibilities across Dartmoor Training Area in compliance with the Ministry of Defence’s Rural Policy, which recognises legislation, memorandums of understandings, declarations of intent, and agreements with landowners and tenants. An overarching environmental management system, which complies with BS ISO 14001, has been established to take full account of these responsibilities and manage all military activities and impacts across Dartmoor Training Area.
